6’ Look Description:
Arthur Weasley is a tall and muscular man, though his height his often minimized as he has a tendency to hunch. His blue eyes are true reflections of his feelings – alternatingly cold and calculating or raging with passion or emotion – and there has never been anything he could do to disguise that. His red hair is generally kept short, though messy, and he seems to have a perpetual five o’clock shadow.Dressing Style:
Unlike his namesake, Arthur disdains anything muggle. His primary form of dress is in the most expensive fashion that he could afford. Even in his free time, he doesn’t wear muggle clothing unless there is some bizarre, specific reason why he wouldn’t have a choice. PersonalityCharacter Description:
Arthur Weasley is a bitter and resentful person. Like so many of his ancestors before him he is poor and generally powerless and it has left him cold and difficult to get to know or to like. He hates all things muggles and is full of disdain toward those that cater to the muggles or the mudbloods that have infested magical society. It doesn’t help his personality that he hates the fact that he’s come from a long line of those very same blood traitors.Quirks:
Arthur drinks. While he wouldn’t ever consider himself to be an alcoholic, it wouldn’t take much for him to cross that line. There are very few times that he doesn’t have a drink on him or near at hand – to the point that he carries a magical flask for those moments when it’s needed.Strengths:
Arthur is a methodical and thorough person. He keeps his eyes on his goal and is very resourceful and hardworking when it comes to going after what he wants. This combined with his clever and creative problem solving abilities can make him a good ally and a frustrating opponent.Weaknesses:
While he is good at planning and carrying through on his goals on his own; he has trouble working with other people. Arthur has a tendency to be abrasive and blunt. He doesn’t really care what people think or how they feel. He is domineering and arrogant when it comes to other people and he isn’t likely to follow their advice or listen to reason if he feels that people are being condescending toward him. Likes:
Arthur revels in the long history of his family and what he sees as their place in the magical world – even if it is being denied to them. He enjoys magical history and all aspects of magical culture. When he has the chance he seeks out bits of arcane lore and old family traditions.Dislikes:
Arthur hates mudbloods and blood traitors as well as the muggles they praise and represent. There is nothing else that he’d like to see more than their removal from the world – unfortunately, he also hates the fact that he doesn’t currently have the power to see something like that through.Boggart:
Magic disappearing from the world.Patronus:
His wand is made of blue spruce and has a core of phoenix feather. It is 14 and 1/4 inches long and is inflexible. It is very darkly colored and is roughly carved. Strength:
Much to the disappointment of his father, Arthur has a gift and affinity toward Dark Magic. Most specifically, he has a talent for blood magic. Weakness:
Arthur is just bad at healing and defensive spells – always believing in the adage that a good offense is the best defense.EducationSchool:

The Weasley name is an old and distinguished name – even though nothing about its current members could lead anyone to believe that. Their ancient fortune and the prestige of their name was wasted over the years in a long line of blood traitors and muggle lovers. They had a chance to regain their position in society with Ronald Weasley and his friendship with Harry Potter, but with his marriage to the mudblood Granger he fell into the shadow of his outspoken and hero-worshiped friends and his family continued its slide into obscurity.
By the time that Arthur was born, his parents still made their home in the all too run-down Burrow in Ottery St. Catchpole and Arthur grew up seething with resentment as he briefly encountered his cousins and saw how they lived and the power and respect that their family commanded only for them to pack up and return to their lives; leaving him in the broken down home that was all but falling apart around him – held together by magic and luck.
It seemed freedom was his at last when he left for Hogwarts, only be sorted into Gryffindor – just like all of his family before him. There, people assumed he would be just like the rest of his family, especially given the stories about his namesake, and he went through seven years seemingly working to alienate himself from the people around him. In a twist he’d have never seen coming, he fell in with a group of Purebloods from Slytherin and they actually accepted him. They were all surprised to find out just how powerful his affinity was for Dark Magic and he did everything he could to further his studies.
When he graduated, he continued to work on expanding his knowledge and experience with the Darker aspects of the magical world and fell into an out of the way position in the Ministry, in the Beings Division with Magical Creatures. There he sat, doing the minimum necessary as he watched in horror as the Ministry fell further and further into the grips of the blood traitors. With the election of Minister Stewart, Arthur has convinced himself that people need to start acting.
