"Am so boooored!" Maz whined at her aunt. She was confined not just to the hospital wing but, thanks to her ankle which was firmly held in a splint, she was confined to bed. Maz wasn't a person who did well with any type of confinement.

"I'm here. You could try talking instead of bitching." her aunt told her calmly.

With a blank stare Maz regarded Jen before rolling her eyes. "Hate tae tell yi this Jen but yir the boringest fucker ah've ever met. Whit we gaunae tawk aboot, eh? We never tawk we fight, it's like tradition an' am too fucking bored tae attempt tae change it noo."

Jen sighed and turned her attention back to the newspaper she held. Everything about the woman screamed calmness and it was freaking Maz out. From the first time she'd woken after her attack and saw her aunt sitting by her bedside she'd been slightly freaked out and it was only getting worse with every passing minute. Not only was Jen being unusually calm, she was being nice. Acting like a real human person even. Maz didn't get it and was constantly looking for the catch.

Narrowing her eyes she watched her aunt. What was her game? Did she honestly think she'd beat Maz, the ultimate player of the game of life? The girl shook her head and as she did so noticed the door opening at the end of the ward. Seeing the boy who stepped through Maz smiled. A smile that showed one missing canine and a chipped front tooth.

"Pavon!" she shouted across the ward. "Happenin' fella." The Hufflepuff even waved. That's how happy she was to see a face that didn't belong to her aunt. Speaking of her aunt the girl turned to her.

"Right, you kin fuck off noo. Mah pals here an' unlike some people who kin remain unnamed he's no a borin' fucker... Well, least he's no maist eh the time."

Jen appeared to he about to protest but Maz cut her off quickly. "Look, here's the 'hing. Right noo yir winnin'. Yi'll no be winnin' fur long cause soon ah'll be oot an' aboot but right noo winnin's whit yir dain. So, noo yi know yi kin fuck off an' leave me alone fur a bit. Yi've no moved fae they brought me here an' honeslty, Jen, yir gittin' a bit rank rotten." Maz waved a hand in front of her nose to prove her point about smells. "It's unhygenic in a hospital wing."

With a flash of triumph Maz noticed the tension to her aunt's jaw and the steel in her eyes. She'd gotten to Jen. Whatever she was at Maz had broken through. The girl smiled again. For her part Jen seemed to quickly get herself under control then smiled at the bed bound girl. "You're probably right and I've gone nose blind. I'll be back really soon." Before she left, - completely ignoring the boy on her way - the woman placed a gentle hand on the girl's shoulder and squeezed.

Maz still looked absolutely horrified when Pavon reached the side of her bed. She stared at him wide-eyed and open mouthed then watched her aunt leave with no change in expression. There were no words, no thoughts even in her head for that moment.

Outwardly she was still quite beat up. Her face was home to many scratches and bruises the worst of which were the two that ringed her slightly swollen eyes. The yellow and black pyjamas she wore covered most of her skin but of what could be seen it was largely purple and varying shades of blue. The blood and dirt was gone but the injuries looked a lot worse without the cover.

When he saw the girl at the Great hall Pavon thought that she wouldn't have made it. Ok, maybe that was a bit excessive, but she did looked rather badly banged up and had gone from bad to worse right before their eyes. He worried. He had wanted to see her sooner, just to make sure that she would be alright and that she would live. But on the several attempts he had made before, he was told she needed peace, quiet and rest. Of course he could have had all that there even with the addition of his presence but that did not change the nurse's mind. Maz, if awake, could get boisterous. Not what a patient needed when getting better.

Well this time he could see she was awake, her aunt was there as well and they were not having the best of conversations. He was aware of her opinion on her aunt but could not blame the squib for worrying about her niece. Seemed that either she actaully worried and even had a heart deep down, or she wanted to see where that would go, in which case, she didn't. But he was not here to pass judgement, for once. Just to see Maz. He waved to the girl when she called his name and made his way towards her.

Well this wouldn't be awkward. The woman was leaving. He actually felt glad about that. While he couldn't have gotten much, there was a small packet of chocolate he had, and one of other sweets made by the elves in the kitchen. Ok, perhaps with her chipped teeth and all that it would be a pain to eat either but, what else could he have gotten her. A plant would have been useless and she'd have scoffed at him. He diverted his attention from the cabinet hed'd passed on the way and the various other beds. His mind strayed to the potion he craved worse with every day. In fact, coming here was something he had only done for Maz. It was a risk, if the nurse was here and she decided to stick her nose into business she did not need to.

"Hey... how's life? " He tried to make it sound light. He placed his gifts on the desk beside her bed rather than dump them in her lap. "You look...." He paused and scowled. "....Do you remember who did it? Their faces?" Ok, so he really wanted to find the muggleborns - he was sure it was them - because they had attacked a pureblood - Maz - and that had to be avenged somehow. "...You ok?" He waved his hand infront of her face. He had only then noticed her bewildered loook she had since her aunt left.

Frowning at Pavon and his questions Maz had to wonder why everyone but she seemed to think her aunt's change in character was normal. The nurse, the other professor's who'd been in and even the elves who'd been popping in and out. None of them seemed to notice the glaring difference in Jen. A woman who Maz believed if she had one caring bone in her body it was in the pinky toe - as small as could be and as far from her heart as physically possible.

She could have questioned Pavon on it but then he stopped firing questions, waved in her face and Maz answered him. There had been too many in a row before that - her concussion not having cleared completely making them meld to one jumble of question.

"Dandy mate." she ensured her grin was the biggest it could be. "Jist aboot ready eh jump oot this bed an' go a run... skip some gairden's... eat a toffee... Naw am no bloody awright. Ah've hid a beatin', Jen's hid a personality transplant an' no other fuckers noticin' an' fowks lookin' it me like am some kind eh victim."

The last she detested. There were few things in life Maz was sure of but one of them was that she was never a victim. She always came back fighting, she always came back stronger - not a victim. Not in the least.

"The rest eh the school disnae 'hink that, dae they?" The thought had occurred to her in the dark hours while she listened to her aunt's quiet snores. It had chilled her to the bone. A horrible thought, one that would only end up making others suffer she was sure. "Ah mean, ah know ah goat pure bleached an' aw but ah'll git the fuckers back. Yi know ah'll git them back right?" She was unsure and it showed. People had to know she'd get her revenge. Her threat of Hell while slightly over the top was not untrue.

"The others , I believe, are still quite shaken and impressed by your performance in the Great Hall. ...I can't lie and say some don't consider you a victim. But only in so much that you've been attacked, not that you are trying to milk it out as much as possible." He smiled faintly. "You could, you know. Have the school come under scrunity for it. Heck.. we could be rid of a few professors....." His voice had dropped to a whisper when he said any of that.

"But... I don't think you've got it in you, to do that." It wasn't an insult, just a statement. While he might have done anything he could to make the Headmaster responsible, he doubted Maz would.

He nodded slowly. "I know yo won't let them go without a sound beating. If you remember how they look that is." He leaned back, stuffing his hands into his pockets because they had that tremor again. " I've got enough experience with you to know you go after people for less." He cracked a smile. "But I'd be careful....if I were you. There were several of them, right? There might be even more. Don't run into the fight without knowing who you are dealing with." He did not expect her to ask him for help. She fought her own battles. Usually.

"Still.... what do you remember? Faces? Number? Anything? What house even? It would narrow down the possible candidates if we knew from which House they came."

While Pavon's answer didn't send Maz into a rage it didn't leave her feeling pleased either. Of course it was great that she'd made a lasting impression but she could never sit right with being thought of as a victim. It was just something she would never accept. As soon as she left the hospital wing she'd have to change that thinking, nip it in the bud.

"No that ah've no goat it in me, mair that mah fight isnae way the school." She responded quietly. Why would she take it out on the school? She was more than certain that it hadn't been professors who'd ambushed her.

"Damn sight mair than a beatin'. Am ruinin' their whole fuckin' lives, futures an' every'hin'." There was no doubt in her mind that she'd be able to do just that. "Of course, a beatin' fur each'll still be required... ah still need tae huv mah fun." She grinned at Pavon.

His question came fast and thanks to the concussion left her frowning. "Uh... three eh thum ah 'hink. When ah came roon the corner there wiz wan infront eh me and wan behind but..." After looking around for the nurse and not spotting her Maz lowered her voice as she leaned slightly towards the Slytherin. "Ah 'hink there wur three in the visions. It's aw fuzzy - memory and ability." She tapped her forehead where it was rumoured the third eye sat. "An' dinnae wurry, am no gaunae rush in. Ah am capable eh plannin' shit."

She snatched a chocolate frog from the cabinet by the bed and tossed it to Pavon having seen his shaking hands. "How's the roid rage?" She smiled cheekily, joking with him even though she knew it was a fifty-fifty chance of him taking it the wrong way.

"Why not? It's their fault this happened really. They have them the idea, the feeling that can do it and get away without ever being so much as slapped on the wrist, let alone actually punished. Even now... what did the headmaster do? Did he make a thorough investigation on what happened? Did he have a speech that no such thing will be tolerated and that the culprits will be punished? Nope. Nothing. So he could just as well have hired them to do it himself." He shook his head. He knew that the headmaster did not hire anyone, but the way he had set the grounds for this to be possible, he was responsible for it. He made everybody believe that purebloods were fair game. He gave everybody the feeling that they were the one that were ok to be bullied, heck, he and his professors bullied them themselves.

He frowned, leaning closer when she spoke and then nodded when she explained how many she thought they were and that she could not see them well in the vision. So that did not help. Knowing faces would have been much easier and better. However he could just as well listen when he was in the halls. Such idiots tended to brag about it if they thought they got away with it. Perhaps he managed to overhear someone. It was possible at least and it was something. He could ask around, but purebloods did not have many friends and fewer yet , in his opinion, now that the situation at the school had changed to drastically. That, and he did despise most of those, not of pure ancestry.

"I see. That won't help us..... but, at least we know the number, could you tell how old they were? They can't be the ones that had it in for me, can they? They're not going to this school any longer." If they looked in any way similar, Maz would know though, and tell him.

He fumbled with the frog thrown at him, the shaking of his hands momentarily even more evident as he did so. He finally secured the thing with one hand, while the other was tucked out of view. His expression darkened when Maz teased him about the 'roidrage'. He held the frog in the other hand and as the tremor continued he threw it back in irritation. "Be quiet!" He snapped in a hushed hiss. "We're in the hospital. I don't need the nurse making stupid, flawed assumptions!" He added. Maz had no idea what he'd do to have some more of the potion! And it was not roid rage, that was muggle stuff, his potion had nothing to do with that. It was better! It just......he just... he did not want to stop ok. He could, he just did not feel like it and the tremors had nothing to do with it either!

"So naeb'y ever jumped anybody afore Norwood went aw pro-muggle? Away an' no tawk pish you." Maz shook her head, really, at times Pavon could be a right pain. A migraine inducing pest with how he twisted things to fit his own view. But, he would not be using what had happened to her in such a way. "Fur your information the Aurors huv bin called in. So there's yir nae full investigation nonsense oot the fuckin' windae. Yir Norwood paid them theory kin go right alang way it. Had he paid them he widnae want the Aurors sniffin' aboot cause they wur just students an' likely tae tawk."

Taking a breath Maz tried to put a lid on her annoyance. "Simple fact eh the matter is while humans latch ontae excuses they dinnae need thum. They just like tae justify themselves cause we've bin telt that we've evolved past violent tendancies. Which, by the way, is the biggest crock eh shite anyone's ever tried tae sell. Humans ur violent whether magical or muggle. So, the only wans tae blame fur whit happened tae me ur the wans whit dun it. So dinnae bother gaun aboot tellin' fowk it wiz aw the fault eh pro-muggleness cause wiz it fuck!"

"Couldnae even tell ah wiz the wan gittin dun in 'til it wiz happenin'." Maz replied with a sigh. She didn't know why that happened. Had no idea why she couldn't properly see herself in the visions. As much as there were times when she hated her ability it stung to know it had failed her so badly, or she had failed it whatever the case may be. "They morons? Nah, whoever it was they've waited. Ah've known this is comin' fur months so they had to huv planned it a while ago. Kin you see they bullyin' morons huvin' any level eh patience?" Maz certainly couldn't. "Anyway, at least wan eh thum wiz a lassie."

Maz chuckled at Pavon's response, pleased to have gotten the rise she expected. "Nurse Gellar's sleepin'. Listen." Pausing a moment she was just able to hear the nurses heavy breathing that only came with sleep. "Wiz a long night fur her last night. Everytime ah woke up ah found her an' Jen sittin' wide awake." The two women had done the same since Maz had been brought to the hospital wing. The nurse because she was watching for side effects after Maz had suffered a few and Jen... well, she didn't know why Jen bothered. The girl hoped to talk them into leaving her alone that night, or at least talk them into sleeping. She didn't need a sleep-deprived healer and Jen was a complete monster if she didn't get her full eight hours.

"Is it withdrawels yir gittin' like some mad junkie bam?" She queried as she looked over Pavon. "Yi dinnae look right at aw. Ah mean yi never looked right" she teased sensing that her chances of doing so would be few and far between. "but yi dinnae even look right fur yerself." Even while she teased there was a hint of concern about her, a worry about the boy who, whether he liked it or not she'd always class as her friend.

"Not as frequently or the extent as now, no." He answered stiffly shaking his head at Maz. She could deny it all she wanted, things were going from bad to worse ever sine Norwood became the Headmaster and ever since he made things such as muggle studies obligatory. "...If he wants to appear all good infront of the public and the parents, of course he can call a couple of his Auror buddies....They'll give him the findings he wants and... there we are, back where we started." He answered really thinking that Maz was taking it far too lightly but then she would defend the muggle lovers like that. She always would.

"..Anyway, why else would they've targeted you? ...It's not like you don't fancy both sides. You are quite pro muggle 'sfar as I've seen. Perhaps one of the most pro muggle amongst the pure bloods. But you are also still one." He studied Maz for a few moments seeing no other explanation than the one he had made. "If you think I'm wrong. Tell me your theory then?" He was surprised that her visions did not warn her about it. If anything they should have done so. She should have known just the way she had known when she came to warn him about his own attackers. But....it was clear as day that she hadn't. Was it because there were far too many plans to attack purebloods and she could not tell which was for whom?

He glanced towards the nurse when she started off on how he looked again. She did snore and she was asleep, but he still felt at unease about her even being there. "...Hush you. I'm perfectly fine." He whispered harshly. "It's just the workload that's being a pain....all that muggle studies and.... you know how Morrigan is." Briefly he was surprised he almost forgot what the name of that professor was. "His plan seems to be to drive me insane... or into exhaustion." He would deny ever resembling anything muggle like, and he didn't even know what the person Maz mentioned was but he was sure it was a muggle term.

"Aye, cause it's a proper epidemic right noo. Riots in the corridors, lynchin' in the common rooms... fuckin' mayhem." She laughed to herself with a half smile. The way Pavon made out the school was in chaos and purebloods were dropping left and right. She admired his ability to stick at it, even though she could find it tiring at the same time. "Loaded is he then? Norwood ah mean. Goat aw the Aurors in his pocket?"

While Maz would admit that the purebloods had been badly treated to an extent she wished the purebloods themselves wouldn't use outrageous extreme theories instead of the actual issues. For instance, in most pureblood cases the punishment far out weighed the crime. And she never, ever would agree with the continual punishment of some families. So why didn't they shout about those causes and leave the fantasies aside? The other side was just as bad she knew. It was the reason she made a joke of most of it and had kept clear until her arm was so rudely twisted.

"Am ah fuck pro-anyehit!" Maz seemed slightly put off by the very thought. "Am pro people. Jist cause ah dinnae see the same made-up difference as the rest eh yeez disnae mean am pro wan or the fuckin' other. Jist means ah treat other fowk as they treat me... if they're a cunt tae me am wan right back at them." she grinned. "But am so much better at it. Which ah'll prove when am oot eh here." After a short pause she said. "Basically ah dinnae give a fuck whit happens as far as muggle stuff inclusion goes. It doesnae affect me, ah live in baith worlds an' ah intend tae continue dain so fur the rest eh mah life. Ah wiz happy enough bein' left oot the picture."

"Theories easy. Am the furst tae admit that while am wan eh the maist charmingest bastards yi'll ever meet..." Maz flashed her most winning smile, the effect lessened somewhat by the missing tooth. "am also wan eh the biggest bastards. Might of been killin' two burds way wan stone. Or they didnae like mah wee speech against muggle studies." She shrugged, until she found out the identities there wasn't much point speculating and, to Maz, their reasoning mattered least.

"Fuck up it's the workload. We've aw been or ur gaun through it an' no everybody looks like they're aboot drappin' deid." She threw another frog box his way. "Huv as much as yi want. An' whit's Morrigan been dain?"

"You don't need to have money to control the Aurors. Just connections, know the right people." Pavon answered stiffly, not at all amused that he was teased and taunted in that way. It was not funny but of course Maz would take it lightly. Of course she would blindly believe that all was well even after she was beaten near to death.

He did not say anything to her claim of not taking sides. She was, but him saying it would not change her mind or make her admit it. So instead of focusing on her claims he just remained quiet. Did so as well when she continued about how she would have her revenge and further on when made her speculations about who could have had it in her and why. He thought it was probably because of her lack of support for the muggle studies speech. But that was the only thing she'd ever done anyway.

He shrugged and almost didn't catch the frog thrown at him. It bounced of one arm only to be snatched - as best as - with the other. He bit into the chocolate this time and ate most of the frog before he spoke up again.

".....well , glad to see you are getting better. ...Morrigan is being his usual arsy self. Nothing new. Just worse day by day. On a bigger powertrip as time goes by. Same goes with the new professor of the Muggle studies themselves... but you'll be saying I am taking it out of context...." He shrugged and finished the frog.

"Helps though. Bribin's easier than pals." It wasn't just their world that was made up that way Maz knew. It was both worlds and all the different societies in them. Corruption was rife amongst humans but Maz honestly didn't think that was the route Headmaster Norwood would go. She prided herself on being a good judge of character (relying somewhat on her ability to see people's auras) and Norwood seemed like a decent enough guy from where she sat. She'd never say a good guy because no one was purely good, everyone was grey and Maz knew it.

"What?" she questioned Pavon's silence. "No even a smile it the thought eh muggleborn blood up the walls? Well colour me disa-fuckin'-pointed. I wiz kindae relyin' oan you fur some ideas."

Maz rubbed at her eyes feeling an itch begin to cover them. "Ever hid an itchy eyebaw?" She asked Pavon as she turned to circling her knuckles against the closed lids. "This is annoyin' as fuck like. Seriously."

Opening her eyes as wide as they could go Maz obviously didn't see the rich amber colour they had turned. "Ah reckon that's the politics in the Morrigan blood. It seeps in an' kids end up bein' born political." She wasn't even really joking, even Tim had the quality. A Morrigan quality Maz had come to name it. It wasn't an altogether bad thing though and Maz could well see it's benefits. "Didnae ken actions goat taken oot eh context... always thought that wiz a wurd only type 'hing." She rubbed her eyes again as the amber colour seeped further covering her pupil and even the whites.

Pavon shrugged again at her complaint that he left her disappointed. Well if that is how she felt, it was fine by him. He was tired and fed up with everything. A couple of times he had considered it. Leaving too. But he couldn't. If he wanted to keep his magic, he had to stay, and then there was of course having to make sure his brother was safe, and his family had a descendent. It worked so far but it was starting to tear down on him, along with the potion, which helped when it did, but was forbidden never the less. The feeling that he was continuously watched didn't help. He could not prove it, he did not see it really, he just felt it.

"..Er........Maz. Do you usually have your eyes covered in.....amber?" Of course she didn't, but how could someone even ask that without sounding daft. He got up. He was already trying to figure out what could have caused it, but since he was not a healer he could not exactly make the diagnosis, and if it would prove harmful to the girl, he certainly needed to wake up the snoozing nurse.

"Maz, that isn't an itch of your eyeball. Just saying." He began.

"Dinnae be upset." Maz spoke after taking as much as she could of his continued silence. "Yi know am only windin' yi up... maistly."

Her eyes were getting itchier by the minute and she tried to grind her knuckles in further. She felt on the brink of tears but not from pain but because her eyes needed the wetness. If the tears would just fall the itch would recede, she was sure of it. So sure that she didn't even mind crying in front of Pavon. If only she could!

"Whit?" she questioned thinking she must have heard him wrong. "Naw, yi know they're blue. Dark blue. Huv they changed like?" It was her turn to ask when she already knew the answer. Turning to him she removed her hands from her eyes. Each was now surrounded in a pink mark from being rubbed and when she opened her lids it was to reveal the colour changed completely.

With her eyes now open the itch turned to a burn, a burn that built by the second. As she tried to blink it away Maz bit her bottom lip to keep from making a sound. The pain broke through even the potion she'd been given.

"Aye. Am gittin' that feelin' masel." She spoke through gritted teeth. Then with just one thought in her mind Maz reached for the pitcher of water on the cabinet. After tilting her head back and opening her eyes as wide as they would go Maz tipped the watery goodness out onto her face.

"Git the nurse." She gasped as the water and ice cubes she'd forgotten about hit her. Snatching one she held it to her left eye before dropping the pitcher and grabbing for another cube.

"Maz. Don't touch your eyes! Whatever it is, you might agitate it further! And don't hold the cubes to it! You could blind yourself!" Which was very quickly followed by.

"NURSE! Miss. Geller!!!" As the boy turned to run towards where she had been snoozing earlier.

"We need your help!! GELLER!!" He yelled and was probably heard all across the hospital wing, the hall outside and by how strong the voice had been, heck, probably even further out.

"It's Maz! Her eyes have turned a weird colour!" He hurried to explain the moment he was anywhere near the woman who was supposed to help them. He was giving her all the symptoms he knew so far so that she'd have been armed with the knowledge even before she needed to approach Maz herself.

Anastacia woke suddenly bolting to a sitting position on the small settee she'd bought for her office/workshop. A nap hadn't been her intention when she'd sat down to give her feet a rest for just a minute. She hadn't even felt tired enough to sleep but evidently her energy reserves had been more depleted than she'd guessed.

Hearing Pavon shout again the nurse shot to her feet and rushed into the room. The boy was speaking even as he was still moving towards her while she swept past him. Reaching the bed she quickly took in the girl holding melting cubes to her closed eyes. Just a look at her tightly scrunched face was enough evidence of the pain she was in but that didn't make sense. The pain potion was the strongest there was, Mas shouldn't be able to feel a thing.

Quickly but gently Ana held the girls wrists. "Let me see, Maz." She prodded gently as she coaxed Maz's hands from her eyes and set them on the bed. "That's it. Now, open your eyes, pet." It seemed that Maz wasn't going to do it, she seemed to think the action over thoroughly before opening both eyes all at once and not bit by bit as the nurse expected.

At the sight of the eyes Ana held in a gasp. She moved closer to peer into them tilting her head to get a look from all angles. The eyes which had been a deep blue when Ana had last looked at them were now a dark amber colour, every inch of the eyeball had taken on the colour. Red skin surrounded each and appeared angry enough to hurt.

It wasn't a usual side effect of the spells and potions Maz had been given but that didn't phase the healer. After pulling her wand from the apron on her front she pushed up the sleeves of her pale yellow jumper. Getting herself ready to cast the spell which she always tried first Ana suddenly remembered Pavon.

Holding her stance to cast a Finite charm Anastacia turned only her head to the boy. "She'll be fine love. I'll have her eyes sorted out in no time. Go on back to your common room. Maz'll need rest after this."

After a quick smile his way Ana turned back to see tears now streaming from her patients eyes. "Be over soon." she whispered then started working through the pausing spells healers often employed to ensure time to solve the problem.

Pavon looked at Maz, Miss Geller and then Maz again. He wanted to stay, although not exactly in Miss Geller's company. He was not feeling that well himself and she as a nurse might start noticing after she dealt with Maz's problem. He'd have preferred to have her keep her nose out of his business. If Maz needed rest, he would be in the way anyway.

"Just...make her feel better. Heal her." He said to the nurse, staying out of her way so that she could perform the spells she needed to ease the nasty sideeffect from Maz's face. He backed away from the bed a little, his eyes still on Maz. "....I'll be back. " He hesitated: "You're in good hands now. She'll fix you." Which he hoped Miss Geller would. But he saw progress at least, or thought he saw it.

He did not fully leave though but stayed at the door that lead into the Hospital Wing. He just wanted to make sure that Miss Geller could handle it, or if she needed to have more help called, that he would be there to do so rather than have her waste precious time on it. If she needed something brought she probably could just accio it over, but never the less he was intent to wait until he saw Maz well again and only then head off to his own common room.

Where he was now, he at least was not in the way, nor causing further distress.

Continuing with her work Anastacia knew the boy hadn't left. She had a sense of him lingering by the door and when she had a chance to glance over quickly her eyes confirmed it. There was no time to spare a spot for him at that moment though.

After ruling out more than a few counter charms one finally seemed to work. It was slow and had she not been paying close attention the nurse would have missed the colour slowly changing. It started at the outer end of each eye and worked inwardly.

Leaving the charm to do it's work Ana hurried to her office door and only had to stick a hand in to grab the potions she needed off the trolley just inside. Another one for the pain and one to get her patient to sleep. It was a bit early but there was a good chance Maz wouldn't be keeping regular hours. Already her injuries appeared more than they had first seemed.

Once back at the bed Ana smiled seeing the whites back while only the iris and pupil remained changed. "Is the burning going with it pet?" she asked the girl who thought for a moment before answering with a nod. "Good." the healer replied, "but I still want you to take this for the pain." Maz did. "And this for a deep sleep." She smiled as that potion was taken too.

Within seconds her patients lids were falling and Ana smiled on quietly. It would do Maz good, sleep was a great healer a natural healer. When the girl was out for the count the nurse pulled the covers up and tucked her in before turning to the boy lingering at her door.

"Tea?" she asked cheerily then turned and made her way to the office once more.

Pavon relaxed once he saw that Maz was going to be alright. He was about to turn and leave when the nurse offered the tea. He glanced towards Maz again. She was soon to be sound asleep and she would heal and her eyes were no longer looking like they were possessed. It reminded him a little of when he took his potion and then had healing done to him. His own eyes though had only been more light sensitive and had turned pitch black. Nothing like the colour Maz had and nothing like the pain she felt.

He was grateful for that. He blinked in the direction of Miss Geller. "Uh...... no thank you. I was about to leave." He answered feeling unease and discomfort at a lesser degree, but still present. If only he could have taken his potion again, things would be so much better, easier, faster.

"...She'll be fine, right?" He hesitated, his hands still in his pockets. "I mean... she looks fine now.. Thank you for your time." He began to turn. ".. and ... err.. .good job." It was awkward and he didn't really know what to say.
