There were ways to keep one's mind off of the need, want and desire to take something that had been forbidden to him. one of the ways was to fly. It could not compare to the high feeling, the sense of alertness, strength and vigour that the potion would give him, but it was closer to that than if he had simply sat in his chair infront of the fireplace. He had been restless, his headache had started again and just after he managed to rid himself of it, the want of the special concoction returned again. His hands shook for a little while. His temper wished to flare and his feathers seemed to be ruffled at the slightest provocation. Before a first year Slytherin, who had been far too loud in the common room, would find his face flattened by a book and his nose bashed into the desk at which he sat, Pavon decided to simply leave. Those who shared the House with him did not deserve, unless they were mudbloods, to suffer his wrath only because Morrigan and Aiden and Norwood had all been pricks to him.

To let off some steam he headed for the pitch, one of the two of his new brooms held firmly in his grip. His brother, as a feline, insisted that he wanted to have some fresh air and had not waited for Pavon's permission. Instead he bolted out through the secret entrance, the moment Pavon went to open it. He could rave and rage, but his brother was not coming back until he had his share of lounging in the sun, stretched out and enjoying the autumn breeze.

Giving in, the younger Sannesley followed. Once he reached the pitch he could see the dark furred cat just rolling over from one side to the other, all paws in the air and looking back at him with what could be best compared to a smirk. "...Your funeral." Pavon muttered at him, to which his brother flicked his tail, licked his paw rubbed it over his ear and looked anything but concerned. It wasn't like they had gone outside at night. He would not dare venture anywhere near the forbidden forest then. He knew the stakes. But it was a day, like this, and they were still a distance from the area considered dangerous. They were still safe.

Not one to argue any further with the feline that he could not just drag back to the common room - if he tried he would get a nasty bite and scratches, his brother sure knew how to utilize those claws after all this time, and he'd probably figure out a way to use one of the other students to let him out anyway.

Mounting the broom Pavon stared ahead. A moment later he was high in the air, flying as fast as he cared to. His fingers curled around the broom's handle, his eyes, at one point, closed while wind beat against his face, ruffling his hair. He was tired yet stubborn.

Aliana hummed to herself as she made her way down to the pitch. Although still far too hot for her liking, the redhead decided to take advantage of the slightly cooler temperatures and enjoy a good flying session. She could rarely do it during the summer unless she was at summer camp; so the freedom to fly whenever she wanted, so long as the pitch wasn’t occupied by a Hogwarts quidditch team, was a huge perk in her opinion.
To her dismay there was another person on the pitch, not that she could tell who she would be sharing the pitch with since they were already up in the air. Oh well, she really didn’t mind sharing with just one person, the pitch was large enough for two after all. So as long as she doesn’t have to share with anyone else then she could live with having another person on the pitch.

The redhead walked across the pitch so that she could put her stuff away in the usual spot. On her way over she saw a small, dark blob on the pitch. Curious, Aliana changed her direction slightly to check out what was on the pitch.

“Oh! You’re adorable!” She exclaimed, once she got a closer view of the blob. Though blob was definitely not an accurate term for the animal before her. Who would have thought a cat would be on the pitch? Ali assumed the cat’s owner was the one she’d be sharing the pitch with during her flying session today; she thought it was sweet that the cat wanted to be outside and near its owner.

Aliana stopped about a meter before the cat and sat down; she wanted the cat to come to her or let her approach. She didn’t want to scare the poor thing after all. “Well you’re a handsome kitty, aren’t you?” She asked with a grin. Obviously the cat wouldn’t talk back to her, but she found that most animals in the wizarding world understood what she was saying enough to have some bodily sign of communications—with cats, usually a nose twitch or a tail flick.

The cat was enjoying the sunshine and the light breeze and the openness of the area he was currently at. He listened more than observed what his younger brother was doing. He had seen it before. Pavon liked flying. He loved fast brooms and he was a bit of an idiot in believing that he could not get hurt as long as he was on one. The cat though didn't care. He was quite happy where he was, enjoying the scent of autumn and grass and open outdoors. He could hear something approach. Tilting his head to see what or who it was, he relaxed. It was just a girl. Not a Slytherin, he could tell by the distinguishing red and gold. She seemed friendly though and did not try to chase him around or lift him up without permission, like some people thought to do. He tilted his head curiously when he saw her sit down. His tail flicked when she greeted him and after a moment he uttered a soft meow.

Cats did do that. He had seen some who were more vocal. He read up on it, observed enough to know how he was to behave not to be discovered. She wanted him to come closer. He stood and looked up to where Pavon had slowed down a little after one of the more backbreaking turns. He averted his gaze again to the girl. She was a Gryffindor, which in all truth he should have disliked, but at the same time he could also.... use her for some nice petting. He hopped of the bench and walked slowly and carefully towards her.

When he decided he was close enough he leaned forward a bit as if to sniff at her and see if she was going to be dangerous or friendly. After another moment he took a step, then another, closer to the girl. He sat down flicking his ears.

Above them Pavon had turned into another dive, than a fast twist to head upwards only to slow down again. He rubbed at his temples. The headache was back. The hand that held onto the broom tightened its grip. That wasn't the only problem. He grit his teeth.

The cat on the other hand uttered another meow, his back turned to where Pavon was and his eyes trained on the girl and her hand. If she dared to hit him he would bite her, but if she decided to be nice, just like her posture promised she would be, he was looking forward to being spoiled like a proper cat.

Aliana grinned at the cat; she didn’t really expect a responding meow to her greeting, but she appreciated it. Animals were almost always friendly when approached the correct way; well obviously not things like red caps and manticores, which were incredibly dangerous animals…but most animals were overall pretty friendly so long as they were not startled.

She watched as the cat seemed to be checking its surroundings and occasionally looking up at in the air. The redhead turned around briefly to check around for the other student, they were still in the air so it’s not like she would be chastised by them for being near their pet. Some people did that, she wasn’t really sure why since the animals didn’t seem to mind it but she guessed it was just a quirk of some people. There was a ravenclaw that got mad Aliana fed their owl treats when she was in the owlery, but that could have been more due to the fact that the owl gained some weight.

“You really are a gorgeous cat!” Aliana noted as she got a closer look at the cat. The fur was a nice healthy sheen, so obviously the cat was well fed. She let the cat come at its own pace, she didn’t want to startle the poor thing and have it run off. Once it seemed to reach an apparent safe distance, Aliana leaned forward just a tad to lightly scratch the back of the cat’s neck.

“I think I might have a few strips of jerky in my bag. Do you want some?” She questioned the cat, pausing in her scratching. Though she paused, figuring the cat might not know what jerky was, so she wracked her brain for an idea of how to explain it to the animal. “Well that is to say I have some….treats?”

The compliment was well received as was the petting which caused the cat to purr and nudge his head against the hand stroking him. He stretched out and then leaned into the hand putting a fair amount of weight against it. Slowly his body inched closer to the ground and very soon he was lying next to Aliana, uttering a long rattle of purrs. He did not respond until the petting stopped and then looked at Aliana almost accusingly. How could she have not continued when he clearly gave her all the signs that he wanted and enjoyed it.

He flicked his ears at the offer. Part of him did not care for the food offered and part of him thought that jerky sounded better than any treats that students usually had and thought he would enjoy. There were occasions in the common room when his nose was turned up and he walked right past a cat treat dropped at his feet. He was perhaps in a shape of a cat but his diet remained a much more refined. He pawed at her hand with his claws still in, so that only the soft pads touched the skin. He was almost hugging the hand and pulling it closer to himself.

He began to groom a thumb then stopped, looked at her and gave her the biggest yawn. Perhaps her offer could still be taken he just did not know how to show that he wanted a treat when he was a mere cat and obviously could not say yes.

A sudden thump not too far from them made the feline jump. In an instant he was on his feet looking around, ears perked up, at full alert. Once his eyes locked on the source of the sound he meowed, his tail flicking erratically. There, in a heap of robe, dirt and grass was the person that flew above them earlier. the broom was a little further away, luckily unharmed, but also covered in some grass and leaf. The person, who has obviously landed in lass than graceful manner was not moving.

Aliana grinned, happy that the cat seemed to like her attention. Cats could be very finicky and were always known to be tempermental on the best days--her fellow peers liked to make a joke about lions based on similar principles. Though she wouldn't trade her house for the world, some of the best people she knows were in Gryffindor. Not that other houses were bad, Maz proved that Hufflepuffs could be brilliant after all. "Well I'm glad you're happy about the attention, fella." Aliana replied with a grin as she continued to scratch the cat. The stream of purrs were a soft, pleasant sound to hear. She preferred them over the constant bird chirps at least.

The redhead had to stifle a laugh at the look the cat gave her. Obviously it was not pleased with the fact that she quit scratching it. You could always gauge the mood of a cat, something that she rather liked about the species. Hopefully he would like the mention of treats instead.

She watched as the ears flicked and Aliana couldn't stifle the laughter this time. The flicking of the ears was an obvious indication that the cat was considering something. Whether it was to scratch her for asking or to accept the treat that was offered. "I promise it's good," she replied, chuckling a bit. The next thing she knew, a cat was latched onto her hand. Bemused, Ali watched as the cat licked at her thumb--it was being affectionate so she assumed the idea of a treat was at least palatable to the feline. If not, surely it would be hissing at her by now right? "Alright, I'll get you a treat if you just-"

Aliana couldn't finish her sentence because a thump sound, a bit behind her if she placed it right. She watched as the cat's demeanor completely changed from a soft, playful kitty to one alert and ready to pounce. The flicking of the tail and the mewling indicated that the cat was not pleased. There wasn't anyone on the pitch except for her and the person flying. It didn't take long to deduce that the flyer was the thump; but what caused the flyer to fall was still unknown. There weren't any bludgers or anything, so there shouldn't be a reason for them to fall.

The cat would have to be forgotten for a moment. Shame, she was rather having fun. Standing up, Aliana inched closer to the body. She had to take a few CPR classes by order of her mother, so she figured she knew enough safety information to determine if the person is in need of the mediwitch--which, if basing it on their fall, Aliana was sure she would need.

"Can you hear me?" The question might sound stupid but it did serve the purpose of determining if the person was conscious and able to respond. Aliana stopped a meter in front of the body, not wanting to get closer until she could determine whether or not the person could hear her. If they could, then she would ask if they wanted the mediwitch, if not then well they definitely got the mediwitch. The redhead turned to the cat, "Can you meow once for me if you know where the mediwitch's office is?"

(don't apologise for doing important stuff http://files.b1.jcink.com/html/emoticons/smile.gif! )

The feline stayed away a bit at first, although it seemed to be trying not to pace, his eyes on the crumpled form. Why was the girl waiting instead of checking him though? She was just there, staying away like the boy could bite her or something! The cat ignored her question. Instead he ran up to the boy on the ground and rubbed his head - in an attempt to move the robe - against him. He bit down on the piece of robe and pulled, stopped, glanced Aliana and flicked his tail. There was no response from the fallen at first. At least it slowly began to unravel, gravity taking care to tip the body to the side. The robes were still in the way a great deal but at least some limbs were revealed, with some bruising already blossoming on them.

The sudden sharp rise and fall suggested that whatever air had been knocked out of the person had just been force into his lungs again. The dark furred cat turned to Aliana again meowing as if to say that she was to do something. Cats were fickle creatures. They could not care for anyone and yet they could also be affectionate and loyal to one person. They weren't like dogs, wouldn't jump hoops just because a person existed. They needed more convincing to do something for an owner and yet that was probably why it was so rewarding when they did. When this feline did. Or so at least it would seem.

Pavon's cat bundled over to Aliana sat down trying his best to keep his actions entirely cat like and used that stare to demand that something is done. He couldn't push his brother over to see if he was still breathing. Ok, he'd heard it and there was movement under the robes suggesting that he was breathing but it surely wasn't comfortable and he could suffocate, couldn't he? He meowed insistently. Turn him over already! They had to see if he wasn't drowning on his own blood from a broken nose or something!

And Aliana asked him earlier whether he knew where the mediwitch was? Did he look like a dog? Did she think that he'd go play fetch the mediwitch? He was a cat! Even if he could go, he couldn't risk being discovered for doing something like that.

If the girl did choose to move closer and move the boy over so that his robes would not conceal him, she would have seen a bruised up face, blood where the head had struck the ground - which very likely bled much more profusely than the injury was bad - scratches across the skin, a split lip, the nose would have bled as well, but whether it was broken or not, was still to discern. The rest of course would have been nicely concealed by the clothes the boy wore.

Either way, it wasn't going to take long for the dazed boy to come about, hands clutching around his mid section. "....bloody hell." An raspy curse summing up the whole accident perfectly.

Aliana Alcove

(Pavon is coming around and has lost consciousness at the impact for a few moments. He's currently quite dazed and stunned, but he'll probably try his best to have Aliana stay there and not go run for someone.)

"You shouldn't do that," Aliana chastised the cat. She sounded ridiculous even to herself. What kind of person talks to a cat? Sure people talk to pets all the time, but she's acting like this one actually understands her. Then again, it might. She still hasn't figured out all the quirks of the magical world, after all the familiars seem far more intelligent that a random pet one would pick up from the pound. Oh well, in for a knut and out for a galleon...or something like that. "You could be hurting him even more - you don't know if he has a broken neck or not!"

Aliana huffed as the cat meowed at her. Ornery little thing. "You know despite me talking to you like you actually understand what I am saying doesn't mean I understand what you want." She replied, sticking her tongue out at the creature. Honestly, why did her schoolmate have to fall? She was having fun with the cat just wanting to be petted and fed treats. The redhead turned her attention back to the crumpled form and walked over to it. She leaned down, trying to hear the soft sound of breathing.

"I have no clue if you can hear me since you haven't—" Well the person finally responded. And the voice was all too familiar. Pinching the bridge of her nose, Aliana let out a sigh. "Honestly, the amount of trouble you get yourself into....you should be a Gryffindor." Thankfully the prat wasn't. He wasn't the nicest of fellows after all; quite rude actually...well unless you were that hufflepuff he seemed to like well enough. Oh well, she wouldn't refuse to help someone just because they were a prat.

Seeing as how he was conscious, albeit a closer inspection showed him clutching his side, she decided it was well enough to at least roll him over onto his back. "This might hurt," Aliana stated before she pushed his shoulder hard enough—hopefully anyway—to roll him on his back.

"Now why'd you fall?" Despite his rude behavior, Pavon was an adequate flyer. Not better than her, he seemed to have this odd reservation about cold weather that she just didn't understand, but still a pretty good flyer. A moment's pause and she added, "And what hurts?"

He may not have wanted to be rolled onto his back, but he offered little resistance when Aliana did it. His grip around his mid region relaxed a little. He was painfully aware of who it was that was asking the questions. It made matters worse that it was not just any Gryffindor but the one who tried to boast about being a better flier on a broom. He was of course of the opinion that she was not. Slowly he began to sit up trying to not show any pain even if he initial reaction would have been to curl up somewhere instead. "I'm fine." He muttered trying to appear exactly like what he said. He pressed a piece of cloth against the bleeding cut at his temple. He winced and the one at his lip, that he was reminded of when he spoke, seemed no more welcoming to pressure.

His mind was dazed and a good excuse of why he fell was refusing to come right away. He stayed quiet for a few moments, perhaps longer than he should have and just breathed, trying to get the taste of blood out of his mouth. He tenderly poked at the cut on his lip and regretted it. Instead he turned to look away from Aliana, as if that action alone would hide his current state of being. "Just a few bumps. Nothing's hurting." Which was an understatement. The cramping at his stomach was at least letting up. Ok, back to the excuse. He fell because....

His eyes tried to locate the broom. He at least could see that it had a few twigs that needed fixing, bu the length of the pole itself, did not sustain any damage that could not be fixed. "Leaves..." There were a fair few on the ground. Not as many as he would have liked. It was a bad excuse. A few leaves in the face and he missed the 'sky' and hit the ground? Really? Spell, somebody cast a spell on his broom to prank him? But how much of advanced magic would it be needed to be able to do that? Brooms were made not to be tempered with easily.

His headache was making things worse now, the pulsing of his bruises on his face, his nose in particular was making thinking hard. His lip made talking a little less refined. And there was his stomach trying to make him curl up again. He breathed in slowly.

Perhaps he could just choose to not answer the question and hope Aliana did not ask again. He reached for the cat and the feline purred jumping into his lap. "See you found my cat..." He murmured, not trusting himself to try standing up just yet. The world was still relatively spin prone. "What are you doing here...?"

Aliana scoffed. She did not believe him for a minute; there was just no way someone who falls from the sky is 'fine', especially not when someone falls without any magic to cushion the fall.Had there been a teacher present, then maybe she would have believed him. But unless he casted nonverbally--which she doubted--then there was no way Pavon was fine.

The redhead watched as he winced and rolled her eyes. Pavon could run his mouth and keep saying he was fine, but she noticed him wincing when he touched his lip and she bet his side was probably aching quite a bit as well. "I don't believe that for a second." She said, exasperated. She really shouldn't have expected any less from the boy. They never were on the best of terms, but she never actively singled him out like some of her fellow classmates so she really didn't understand his hesitation in getting help. Then again maybe she upset him unknowingly and now he was just holding a grudge against her? Or maybe he just doesn't like her, it's not like they have much in common aside from being on their respective quidditch teams.

"Leaves?" Aliana questioned. Surely she heard him wrong. He was on the Slytherin quidditch team and as a quidditch player herself she doubted that explanation. "You are a shit liar." She chastised. Honestly, he couldn't have come up with a better excuse--hell even a flying thestral would have been a better explanation that leaves. No quidditch player worth their salt would ever fall off their broom because of leaves. It was unheard off! Bludgers, other players, grip slipping due to rain--all of those were logical excuses that would have made sense; not that any were present at the time, so she probably would have believed those excuses as much as she did the leaves, but still!

"Now tell me what hurts." If he didn't she would just use magic and bring him to the hospital wing and have the mediwitch figure it out. That idea sounded pretty tempting actually, mostly because then she could go flying. If she had to use magic, she probably wouldn't be able to pet the cat anymore though. Shame, she thought the creature was cute. When Pavon mentioned she found his cat, she simply nodded. "I like animals," she replied with a shrug. It wasn't a secret; in fact, Ali was pretty sure everyone in the castle knew her love for animals.

"I was here and got distracted by your cat. Then you fell. Now answer my question." She replied with a frown. The redhead did not understand why he was wondering why she was on the pitch, surely it was obvious right? It wouldn't be the first time they've flown on the pitch not during a game.

"Yeah.....that was..shit...and stupid."Even if he was calling his own words stupid he could not argue that the attempt at an excuse of why he fell wasn't bad. He was a quidditch player. You did get leaves in your face, but you would just shake them off and continue. Leaves would just not bring you down. Neither would flies, dirt or dust in the wind and any of the minor things. If you didn't practically get hit with a large solid object that you have not seen and that a rather strong, stormy wind would bring, something like that just could not be a solid excuse. He was still struggling to focus or even to try finding a good enough excuse that did not involve what really happened. He did not want to go to the Nurse's. She would learn what happened and ban him from flying altogether.

He listened to her and his cat seemed to purr walking back up to Aliana, now that he knew that Pavon was alive and breathing. It almost seemed like he was trying to bring the tension between the two down by his interaction with the girl. Pavon turned to watch him silently and winced again. Anywhere he hit the ground was becoming dark and bruised. Great. He loved robes though for this reason. They hid everything perfectly.

"...ok." He murmured more quietly. "The...obvi......." He was not going to be snappy or sarcastic or mean. He did not need Aliana rushing for someone else. "..The parts which I hit the ground with, hurt. But nothing feels broken. He turned to look fully at her. Just scratches, split lips, bloody nose. The usual." He tried to make light of the situation. He could not see himself but he could feel it. "Quidditch usual."

He carefully shifted. The spasms in his mid section could be felt but not seen. He curled his fingers into a tight fist. He knew he needed that potion but unless he fancied living like a muggle, he could not afford getting it no matter how often his mind strayed towards that topic.

"Ok.. I'm not fine, but I will be fine. How's that?" He glanced at his cat , moving slowly. "He doesn't trust most people." It wasn't lie, just the reason for it was entirely different. "So.. good on you... err... could you fetch my broom. Don't want anybody who might come past to see...what happened. And... can you ..avoid mentioning this to any of your friends?..or anybody?" He wanted to add that he knew he was asking much from a Gryffindor, but knew that would just make Aliana happy to spread the world around to anyone who wanted to listen and everyone who didn't either.

Aliana grinned at Pavon's response. At least he agreed with her, maybe he wasn't a complete lost cause. Actually, he probably was and this whole situation was probably a one off. But at least he agreed with her because it would make this whole situation a lot easier to handle. Plus she could start flying soon. "It was," She agreed. But she understood why he would try to lie to her--they weren't friends after all. And from her from what little interacts she had, Slytherins didn't really do the whole trust thing with Gryffindors.

Absentmindly, Aliana began scratch behind the cat's ear when it approached her. She looked over Pavon one more time, trying to see if he had any life threatening energies he was hiding from her. It would suck if he died in her presence...that would just be major bad luck. Plus she would probably feel a little remorseful if he died..maybe. He could be an awful prat at times. However when she couldn't see any obvious signs of injuries, the redhead turned her focus back onto the cat.

Animals were rather intuitive creatures. They could pick up things that most humans ignored and so she always tended to trust what the animals did over what fellow humans say. Since the cat was purring and willing to be petted again, it obviously thought that Pavon would survive at the very least. Or that was what Aliana was assuming; if she is wrong then she has no clue why the cat would have been upset at Pavon's fall. After all treats were always something animals enjoyed....well usually. Some tended to be picky--there was an owl in the owlery that only liked mice and go screechy when she tried to feed it anything else.

"Well that's good that nothing is broken--it'd be a shame not to beat you at quidditch." She replied with a grin, still scratching behind the cat's ear. A little bit of friendly rivalry never did any harm; and she mostly said that to diffuse some of the tension. After all a broken bone, at most, takes about two days to fully heal so he could easily play quidditch again if he went to the mediwitch. "Quidditch usual still can be painful, you really should probably get some rest."

Aliana shrugged at the fact that the cat doesn't trust most people. Animals liked her, probably because she always gave them compliments and treats. Most creatures were smart enough to realize that a person who fed them is always a good person to have around. She then turned her attention to the cat, "Well if you ever want treats you usually can find me out here!" She said with a grin. Most people would think she is crazy talking to animals, and she probably was just a bit. But at least she never expected the animals to respond--so surely she wasn't that crazy.

When Pavon asked her to summon his broom she frowned; she would have to stop petting the cat so that she could catch the broom. But after a moment of contemplation, she stopped petting the cat and did a quick 'Accio'. Once it was in her hand, she focused on the wizard. "I'll give it to you only if you agree to not fly for the rest of today." She really didn't need him to fall to his death, he got lucky he didn't break anything this time.

"...and if you agree, I promise not to tell anyone-- so long as this situation doesn't happen again! If I hear you fell again I will go to the mediwitch!" She told him. Aliana didn't feel comfortable not telling at least the mediwitch about this, but as a quidditch player she knew how important flying could be to someone and even a week's suspension from it could feel like torture. She wouldn't wish that on a fellow flyer, so she would promise to stay quiet until he does something stupid like this again.

(Sorry this is so delayed - it was midterms this past two weeks and everything has been hectic)

"You mean.. it would be a pity if you wouldn't have a chance to be beaten by me?" Pavon murmured although he was not even sure that they could play. Most of the quidditch players had misbehaved last year and refused to attend the Muggle studies. If it repeated again this year, there would be no team to play against anyone. "Will see how much chance we get though." Thanks to their headmaster.

He rolled his eyes at her concern although it was rather surprising that she showed any. "...I play as a beater, I think I can handle a bit of a tumble." Though, in truth he was not feeling well even now and perhaps a suggestion that he should cut the flying lessons short and go have some rest was becoming more tempting as time passed on. He glared at his cat briefly. The feline was purring and giving much less attention to him now that he was being spoiled. In response to the offer he had even meowed, as if to agree to such an idea. "He is not going to be allowed to roam around unsupervised. Too many big creatures in the forest and around, that could try to eat him." Pavon said simply to which the feline flicked his tail at him.

"And he's a tomcat... might get an idea to chase after any other felines. Or would you prefer I get you fixed." His eyes narrowed on the cat who had quite stubbornly turned from him to get some more spoiling from the girl. Of course Pavon would never have done it, this cat was.. .ironically enough.. the future of his own family.

"It does not concern you." Pavon said at the offer where he would have his broom returned if he chose not to fly, but that she would go to the mediwitch in case he fell again. "....Give me my broom." He paused. "...I will not fly today, but you will promise not to tell anyone no matter what happens. Understood?" He glanced at his hand which was twitching just a little and pulled it back into the folds of his robes.

"I will not fall but it obviously can happen again. I am a quidditch player,..how many times had you fallen and not told, eh?...so that's that."

Aliana snorted. "Like that would ever happen. I'm the one with better aim and skill." Aliana replied with a grin. She hadn't seen much of the Slytherin quidditch team recently and felt she had no right trying to devel into why that was the case. At Pavon's next words, Aliana shrugged. "Whatever helps you sleep at night; I mean we all know who's really going to win anyway." The words were said jokingly, more so to ensure the tension was cleared.

"I'm a beater too, so take some advice from someone who actually knows how bad a 'tumble' can be." She replied, sticking her tongue out at him. Honestly, the pest should just be happy someone was around to help him. What would have happened if he had been out here alone? He could have died!

She scratched the cat's neck, enjoying its soft purrs. It really was a gorgeous cat, well mannered too--granted that could be because of the offer of food. Most animals tended to be friendly and well behaved when they realized they got rewarded for it. "Fine then, he can just as easily find me in the corridors or around the kitchens anyway." She replied with a shrug. It's not like she didn't usually have some form of snack on her anyway.

Aliana blinked at the next statement. "Huh, I just always thought Hogwarts had a requirement to get them spayed or neutered. Or at least had some way of preventing familiars from breeding with each other--are you telling me that they don't?" The redhead had never really bothered to look into it and even if she did, she didn't really know where she would start.

"You know bloody well exactly what I meant by falling!" She scowled. Although she was happy that he agreed not to fly for the rest of the day, his previous statement pissed her off. He was right that it really wasn't her business initially, but the fact that she was present when he fell pretty much made it her business. "I don't know what's going on with you Sannesley, but I know it must be something pretty bad for a decent flyer to fall off his broom like that. Especially one someone who is used to dodging bludgers!"

She took a breath, "So no the next time you fall like that I will tell someone--you could have died!" She replied frowning. Honestly, how could he not see an issue with this? "Look, I'm not asking for why you fell, just be careful the next time you are going through all of this...stuff." She added, waving her free and at the end as she tried, and failed, to come up with a word.

"Now if I knock you off your broom with a well-placed bludger that is another story entirely. And as long as you fall off your broom during an actual game, my lips will be sealed." She even did the zipper gesture across her lips for emphasis. With the matter finished, in her mind anyway, she then turned her focus back to the cat, "Now do you want jerky that I promised you earlier?"
