December 13th 2031Age:
Blonde, curly, big.Height:
Too much to handleLook Description:
Autumn is of average height with a curvy build. She is a good-looking woman who doesn't look anywhere near her age. Her eyes are a shade somewhere between blue and green and lie easily. A smirk is never far from her lips.Dressing Style:
Her work robes are tailored to fit her snugly but are not too tight and range in the deeper shades of every colour except purple. Beneath these she wears plain black court shoes - comfortable and reliable. Exactly what she needs for a long day on her feet fixing messes other people make.
Outside of work her clothes are tight fiting but on the right side of classy. They show off her figure without the threat of anything spilling out. Autumn wears a range of styles and colours and will often be seen wearing the latest fashion trends. One can never have enough shoes and Autumn certainly does not, or boots... or trainers for that matter.PersonalityCharacter Description:
Autumn is a larger than life character from the hair to her aura. One cannot fail to know Autumn is present in a room though she does not have to speak, merely be there. She stands out, as people with her levels of confidence and self-assurance to. It seems to radiate from her very skin. The way she holds herself is that of a woman who is used to getting what she wants, by whatever means necessary. Autumn flirts often but at times will do so outrageously. When angered Autumn is not one to mince her words and the sass she is well known for flows.
As a boss Autumn is hard but fair. She works her staff as hard as she worked herself and she does not suffer fools. It has to be said though, the department does work more smoothly than it ever did (for some at least). Those vocal of a prejudice towards muggleborns will have found their life become more difficult thanks to the actions or inaction of Autumn Winters.Quirks:
When bored Autumn will insult everyone and anyone who comes across her path, friend or foe.Strengths:

Autumn’s parents were loving but little else. They believed in allowing children to be children to the point that Autumn and her brother would find themselves in situations other children would be pulled from or at least warned of by their parents. The lessons they learned in life, each one had to be self-learned according to her mother and father. There was no routine to life. Homeschooling was thought to be best but with no structure it was slowly lacking. Of course as a young child Autumn loved this. She had freedom! The other kids were jealous of her. Her going in time was whenever she wanted, as was bedtime. She bathed when she pleased, ate what she pleased and did just exactly what she pleased.
As she grew though Autumn began to see the flaws in her family’s style of parenting. What was she going to do when she was an adult if she kept along the path her parents jauntily skipped? What would she be? Not anything good she decided and so she rebelled. Her life became full of structure and routine. It worked in her favour that her parents were as easygoing as they were for when she asked about tutors they were quickly employed. Trips to the library happened often, as did days out to museums and historical sites. Her room quickly filled with any and every book she named. Laptops, tablets and any other learning aids she said she required were purchased. For though her parents were disappointed that she unlike her brother had chosen to turn her back on their way of life they would love and support her always.
It soon became clear that Autumn was a gifted child and when the Hogwarts letter arrived she was well on her way to attending one of the most prestigious of muggle private schools Britain had to offer. That pla was dropped in a heartbeat however when the young Autumn found out about her hidden talent. Magic! Autumn had always loved stories of witches and wizards, unicorns and dragons. To pass up the chance to enter that world when it actually existed would be complete madness.
At Hogwarts Autumn was sorted into Slytherin house and soon found her ways of dealing with those who looked down upon her blood status. It was the hardest house for a muggleborn to come through but come through it she did, and splendidly so having held her head high and only retorted with a well timed cutting remark at most. In her fifth year she was made Prefect and in her seventh Head Girl. The Slytherin’s never accepted her but Autumn made sure they were aware their acceptance was never sought, not even for a second.
Upon leaving school Autumn dove straight into University life where she studied both Warding and Curse-Breaking and Ancient Runes (she also took summer courses in Magizooology, Potions and Herbology). Six years after starting she was a highly sought curse-breaker with offers of work flooding in from all over the world. Choosing to keep her base in the United Kingdom Autumn took up employment with the Gringott’s Goblins.
Taking up gainful employment didn’t stop the offers from flowing and ten years into her job Autumn was able to go considering going freelance. It was then, on British soil that the accident occurred. An accident that really was not all it seemed. As her reputation grew so did the eyes watching her and certain people didn’t like how high one of her ancestry was rising. A purebloodist managed to weasel his way onto her team and Autumn doesn’t know how but through some devious sabotage that she probably should have seen her career was ended. A life was lost and while her name suffered no ill fate her pride did. She’d been duped and someone, a person she rather liked, was gone all because of some idiots feelings about her blood.
Autumn had always supported muggleborn rights of course and been very vocal about it during her school, university and into her adult years but now it was personal. A new plan for her life was plotted. Back to University she went and showed no shame in being a mature student. She studied both magical law and magical administration. Six years later she found herself starting her new career in the Wizengamot Administration Department. Three years on and she was running the Administrative Department. A further year after leaving her life of travels behind Autumn put her name forward for a vacant seat on the Wizengamot. She won, as she puts it, magnificently with a large share of the votes.
Autumn is not seeking further promotion and though she is no longer scheming for personal gain she does still dabble for the muggleborn cause when the need arises. Her secrets are still collected and left unused in her head until they are useful.
Having immersed herself in the magical world Autumn rarely see’s her family but she holds no regrets. They write occasionally, she always remembers Christmas, birthdays and anniversaries. More importantly in an emergency she would drop everything in a second for them and they for her. The immersion into her work life some would say has cost her a love life but not she. Autumn is happy with the way she does thing. If she wants someone she has them for however long she wants then… she simply does not.
At this moment in time Autumn is quite content in life.
